Week 2 Roundup: Records Galore Edition

Hopefully, some of you contacted Yahoo regarding the missing foul outs last week. I want to give a quick update on that before I get to this week's post. I contacted Yahoo yesterday via the chat and they said my ticket is still open and they are looking into it but the problem seems to be complicated so that's why it's taking a long time. I'm just glad they are looking into it and hopefully it gets resolved soon. 

Now, to the crazy first two weeks we had with records. First, off was P.J. Washington fouling for the cycle on October 27th. That was a stat line of 6-1-1-1-1 for 310 points. This has happened before but it is extremely rare. 

Second, we saw Jalen Duren get what is believed to be the first double flagrant ejection in NFA history on November 5th. The last game he played in on November 2nd he got a double-techy ejection so he was ejected two games in a row. I believe that's a first as well. In those two games his stats were 9-0-2-2-2 for a total of 485. 

Finally, largely because of Jalen Duren and LaMelo Ball getting 2 foul outs in the week GG Foulin' scored what is believed to be a single-week record (I couldn't find a higher score searching through the blog) of 1095 points. This is what I found in the blog:

1. GG Foulin' scored 1095 points in Week 2 of the 2023-2024 Season
2. Arlington Assaulters scored 1025 Points in Week 17 of the 2017-2018 Season
3. GG Foulin' scored 965 Points in Week 15 of the 2018-2019 Season
4. GG Foulin' scored 925 Points in Week 13 of the 2016-2017 Season

 

I was going to write about the flopping techies this week as it could inflate scores as I mentioned in my closing last week but I'll have to push that back to next week.

Gamblor had a poor week of 295 points and moves down to last place from 8th place. Arlington Assaulters had a poor week of 265 points and moves down to 8th place from 7th place. Baltimore Hitsquad had an average week of 300 points and stays in 7th place. Ohsnappers!!! had a great week of 435 points and moves up to 6th place from last place. F'N FLOPPERS had an average week of 375 points and stays in 5th place.

 

Rodman'sWeddingDress had an average week of 300 points and falls to 4th place from 2nd place. Oww Ming's Flagrants had a great week of 475 points and stays in 3rd place. Pgastan FC had a great week of 485 points and falls from 1st place to 2nd place. Finally, GG Foulin' had an amazing week a record-breaking week of 1095 points and moves up to 1st place from 4th.
