Week 1 Roundup: PSA Edition

Since Yahoo! still hasn't corrected the issue with Foul Outs being in a players season stats (both total and average) I'm going to use this blog post to explain the issue and get you (the reader) to hopefully contact Yahoo with the problem. I first reported the issue in August and got a response but nothing happened. I then followed up by replying to the email I got back from them like a month later but never heard back. Finally, I submitted a new ticket to them last week after I had a player get a foul out so I could clearly show them what the problem was. As of this post, I have received no response.

So, what is the issue? Well, foul outs are not being counted in a players cumulative season stats but they are going in for each day and reflected in correct NFA standings. So, the latter part is obviously good but the former part means we can't easily evaluate foulers and we can't do any mid-season or preseason awards with one whole stat category missing.

The first screenshot below is what I took in August and sent to them showing last season's stats. The issue is the same for current season, last season, and 2 seasons ago.

The next screenshots are what I took last week after a fouler got a foul out to hopefully show them what the issue is. The first one is that days page with the correct score. The second is the day after sorting stats to season stats where you can clearly see foul outs missing.

So, what do I need from you? I need you to contact Yahoo with the problem using the link I'll provide below as they don't seem to be responding to me. I'm hoping we can bombard them with this so we either get an answer or they fix it. This is pretty pathetic and if this doesn't get fixed we may either move the league to ESPN or just disband the NFA.

Using the link below, click "Contact Us" and then select the category (I've been using troubleshooting) and then email them with the problem. I recommend taking screenshots like I did and emailing them.

F'N FLOPPERS had a poor week of 285 points and finds themselves in 5th place

Rodman'sWeddingDress had a great week of 425 points and starts in 2nd place. Finally, Pgastan FC had an excellent week of 560 points and starts off in 1st place.

Next week, I hope to write about the new rule change of flopping techies (F'N FLOPPERS name was just ahead of the game) and how we could see higher scores in the NFA this season because of it.

Well that's it for now.

Keep Foulin' Y'all!
