2022-2023 NFA Season Recap

Well, that concludes another NFA season.Let's take a look at what happened in the final week and where the foul clubs ended up.

Rodman'sWeddingDress had a horrible week of 95 points and finishes 90 points shy of the 7000 point mark in dead last. Ohsnappers!!! had a horrible week of 150 points and finishes in 8th place. F'N FLOPPERS had a poor week of 190 points and stays in 7th place. Arlington Assaulters had a great week of 495 points and finishes just 5 points from 5th in 6th place. Gamblor holds off AA despite a horrible week of 105 points to finish in 5th place.

 

Baltimore Hitsquad had a poor week of 295 points and finishes agonizingly 10 points shy of 11,000. GG Foulin' had a poor week of 260 points and gets the bronze. Pgastan FC had an average week of 300 points and gets the silver. Oww Ming's Flagrants had a poor week of 285 points and takes home the gold. 

 

You'll see a theme of "poor" and "horrible" weeks above. Well there were a ton of DNPs in the final week specifically the final weekend.

A few interesting things to note of the final standings. This is the 5th straight year the top 3 have been some combination of Oww Ming, PFC, and GG. The order changed from last year with GG and Oww Ming flipping 1st and 3rd though PFC remained in 2nd. Also, Oww Ming comes up short of the 13,000 point mark but becomes the 7th team to crack 12,000 points. All but one of those winning the league (GG Foulin' in the 18-19 season did not win).

So, Oww Ming and PFC finish 1 and 2 in points per game but Gamblor finishes 3rd. While Baltimore correctly finishes in 4th GG Foulin' actually finishes in 5th. The league average falls right after GG Foulin' and the rest of the league finishes in correct place according to points per game.

Oww Ming's Flagrants finally gets his second title and now everyone with a title has at least 2. As stated above, this is 5th straight year that the top 3 has consisted of PFC, Oww Ming, and GG Foulin'. Who is finally going to break into the top 3?

Programming Note: I'm not sure when I can writhe the End of the Season Donkies with Yahoo still donking it with Foul Outs not being in correctly. It might have to be in a few months when hopefully the new season opens up with correct stats from this year. I could potentially go to another website for stats but that would require more work and not sure I feel like it. I'll check a few times the next few weeks but I am guessing it will have to be when the new season goes live.
