Week 17 Roundup: Fate of the Duels Edition

Let's see if anyone gets the reference. Anyway, when I had the idea of this post, the duels were a little closer and in fact we basically have 2 duels and a truel. We'll get to more on the duels in the points graph but for now let's get to this week's post.

Stat Corrections:
- DeMar DeRozan had a techy given to him retroactive to January 26th. Pgastan FC didn't have him active that week so he does not gain 40 points.

- Nikola Vucevic had a techy given to him retroactive to January 26th. Oww Ming's Flagrants had him active that week so he gains 40 points.  

It's good to see Yahoo! doing a stat correction that was a few weeks old, but I'm not holding my breathe for the big data dump we're all hoping for.

Transactions:

- Arlington Assaulters dropped Darius Garland on February 10th

- Arlington Assaulters added Ben Simmons and dropped Dorian Finney-Smith on February 10th

- Arlington Assaulters added Cade Cunningham on February 10th

- Pgastan FC dropped Isiah Hartenstein on February 13th

F'N FLOPPERS had a horrible week of 180 points and stays in 9th place but does join the 5000 point club. Ohsnappers!!! had an average week of 365 points and stays in 8th place Gamblor had a poor week of 235 points and falls to 7th place. Baltimore Hitsquad had a great week of 470 points and moves up to 6th place. Arlington Assaulters had an excellent week of 500 points and stays in 5th place. 

 

Rodman'sWeddingDress had a great week of 480 points but falls to 4th place. Oww Ming's Flagrants had an amazing week of 615 points and moves up to 3rd place. GG Foulin' had a great week of 460 points but falls into a tie for 1st place. Pgastan FC had an excellent week and moves up into a tie for 1st place.

It's the points graph that best illustrates the duels (and truels) we've had throughout the years which is why I saved this write-up for now. We clearly have the two laggards in F'N FLOPPERS and Ohsnappers!!! at the bottom but after that we get into the truel and the duels. The Tier 3 truel has the most space between the teams with each team about 200 points behind the one in front of them. Tier 2 has slightly less space between the teams (and as I alluded to in the write-up, it was much closer a few days ago). Finally, Tier 1 is a dead-heat between the 2 best teams in the league this season.
