Week 9 Roundup: The IL Shuffle

No that's not the Illinois Shuffle, though that could be the next big dance at weddings in the near future. You know, like the Cha Cha Slide or the Electric Slide. No, that's the Injured List Shuffle. I could have named it The COVID Shuffle but Foul Clubs are getting hit with non-COVID injuries as well so that just adds to the predicament most clubs are in. Now there have been some roster moves done by clubs so last week was probably worst but let's take a look at how many players each club has with some sort of injury designation. Now that could be anyone with any type of red letters next to their name per Yahoo! Likely that's just "GTD", or "INJ", but possibly "O" as well. Now, there's a total of 10 active roster spots for each Foul Club plus to IL slots. You can only put someone on the IL if they have an "INJ" designation. This list will be for this week as this post comes after rosters locked. Of course transactions had to be done last night to get into this week's roster.

Team Name - # of Active Players with Injury Designation (# of IL Slots in use)

Pgastan FC - 4 (2/2)
GG Foulin' - 5 (2/2)
Arlington Assaulters - 5 (2/2)
Rodman'sWeddingDress - 3 (2/2)
Oww Ming's Flagrants - 6 (2/2)
Gamblor- 2 (1/2) Current Player in IL has come back tonight
Baltimore Hitsquad - 2 (0/2)
Ohsnappers!!! -  4 (0/2)
F'N FLOPPERS - 3 (0/2)

A few things here. First, had I done this post mid-week last week it probably looks worse as a lot of the players entering health and safety protocols happened then when Foul Clubs couldn't do anything to their rosters. Second, it's interesting to note that the bottom tier teams don't seem to know how place an eligible player in the IL slot to free up a roster spot or they just aren't checking their teams that well hence why they are in the bottom tiers. Finally, the top half of the league is dealing with a lot of disruption in terms of injured players so who knows what kind of movement, if any, we see in the standings in the coming weeks.

Now on to this week's regularly scheduled post.

Points Graph:

Tier 4: Ohsnappers!!!, F'N FLOPPERS
Tier 3: Oww Ming's Flagrants, Gamblor, Baltimore Hitsquad
Tier 2: Arlington Assaulters, Rodman'sWeddingDress
Tier 1: Pgastan FC, GG Foulin'

The tiers remain unchanged after last week. The biggest difference seems to be Pgastan FC's widen lead over GG Foulin'. The rest of the tiers there really wasn't much movement within them as most foul clubs had very similar scores to each other that actually coincided with the tiers.

Well that's it for now.

Keep Foulin' Y'all!
