We'll start from the bottom this week. Baltimore Hitsquad had a poor week and that allowed They Call Me Gamblor, who had a great week of 475 points, to get out of the cellar to 8th place. Rodman'sWeddingDress remains in 7th place after an average week of 330 points. F'N FLOPPERS also had an average week of 335 points and remains in 6th place. Pgastan FC had an excellent week with 590 points but remains in 5th place after Ohsnappers!!! came on strong in the last few days of the week to regain 4th place after PFC had briefly taken it. GG Foulin' fell from 1st to 3rd after an average week of 380 points. Oww Ming's Flagrants ended up staying in 2nd place after an excellent week of 540 points. Arlington Assaulters moved from 3rd to 1st after his Amazing week of 645 points.

Can the defending champ hold on this time? Top 3 are pretty close. Pgastan FC has joined the duel for 4th now after a strong showing this week. F'N FLOPPERS is safely in 6th place as of now but that could change. Seventh through ninth are all pretty close to each other so there could be some jockeying for a while at the bottom of the standings.

As you can see from the graph, There are now 3 duels with F'N FLOPPERS in some sort of NFA purgatory. The duels are 1st-3rd, 4th-5th, and 7th-9th. But as we have seen through the first 6 weeks of the season these duels can change at anytime.

NFA 2016-2017: Weeks 4-5 Roundup

Back after a week hiatus. Felt like Blogging tonight.

Stat Corrections:

- Bismack Biyombo had a technical foul taken away from him on November 1st. Rodman'sWeddingDress had him active so he loses 40 points

Transactions:
There have been a handful of transactions the last 2 weeks, 5 to be exact.

- F'N FLOPPERS added Nick Young and dropped Lance Stephenson on November 16th.
- Pgastan FC added Tyson Chandler and dropped Nene Hillario on November 18th.
- Baltimore Hitsquad added Andrew Harrison and dropped Damien Lillard on November 22nd.
- Baltimore Hitsquad added Gerald Henderson and dropped Derrick Favors on November 22nd.
- Baltimore Hitsquad added John Henson and dropped Kemba Walker on November 22nd.

Ohsnappers!!! and  They Call Me Gamblor have yet to make a transaction this year.

As will be evident from the points graph below, we look to have 3 clusters of Foul Clubs. Rodman'sWeddingDress, Baltimore HItsquad and They Call Me Gamblor are in the bottom Tier. Pgastan FC and F'N FLOPPERS are in the middle tier and Ohsnappers!!!, Arlington Assaulters, Oww Ming's Flagrants, and GG Foulin' are in the top tier. We shall see how long this tiers last or if they evolve into duels like we had a few years ago (though with 9 teams now, maybe tiers will be the more accurate way to call them).

GG Foulin' had the best score over both weeks with 1105 and Pgastan FC had the best score over week 5 at 625.

NFA 2016-2017: Weeks 1-3 Roundup

Haven't felt like writing updates lately but have still been writing down weekly scores in Excel and after seeing it through week 3, I was compelled to write one tonight. Not sure if I will post an update every week but I will post stuff throughout the season. Also, may change hte format up on this recaps and nix the transactions and stat correction stuff.

Draft Recap
It was a crazy draft, as the first 3 picks were autopick which meant defending champ, Arlington Assaulters, was able to get DeMarcus Cousins 4th overall. Being that Arlington Assaulers is the only team to have won the NFA without either Cousins or Howard, you would think he would run away with the league this year.... However, that has not been the case so far in the first 3 weeks. Granted, it's only 3 weeks which is a small smaple size, but still, since he went wire-to-wire last year, he has set the bar pretty high.

New comer, GG Foulin', took Giannis over Howard at 5th overall, which history says may come back to bite him, we shall see. Pgastan Foul Club took Blake Griffin at 7 after Oww Ming's Flagrants took Howard at 6. Russell Westbrook went 8th overall and Karl Anthony Towns went 9th overall to the Hitsquad on autopick.

Other notable picks:

Arlington Assaulters took Matt Barnes in the 2nd Round
Pgastan FC took Markieff Morris in the 2nd Round
Oww Ming's Flagrants took Draymond Green in the 2nd Round
GG Foulin' took Kyle Lowry in the 2nd Round

We shall see if Pgastan FC's Analytics Department can carry over his 2nd half surge from last season to this season, but so far he sits in 5th place. 

Stat Corrections
I know I said I may not do this regularly but so far there have only been 3 stat corrections. One is from a free agent but the other was huge.

- Demarcus Cousins had an ejection given to him on October 29th. Arlington Assaulters had him active so he gained 100 points

Having an ejection retroactively given to a fouler is pretty rare, I think it has happened one other time since I have started doing these blogs but I can't confirm. In either case, Arlington Assaulters gained 140 points.
