UPDATE: National Foul Association Glossary of Terms and Abbreviations

With the 2013/2014 NFA Season finally upon us, I have decided to re-post this from last season plus make a few additions (Subject to further updates):

Fouler: One who participates in the sport of fouling (i.e. a player)
MVF: Most Valuable Fouler
The Donkies: Mid-season and End of the season awards for the NFA
Techy: Technical Foul
Flaggy: Flagrant Foul
Performance Foul: Any foul other than a personal foul (Technical, Flagrant, or Ejection)
DTE: Double Techy Ejection
Techy Foul Out Combo (TFO Combo or TFOC): When a player gets a techy and a foul out in the same game resulting in 130 points.
Stat Correction Sunday: When Yahoo! updates stats for fouls, resulting in technicals or flagrants taken away
Stat Donker: Stat Tracker
MSD: Mobile Stat Donker (Yahoo!'s smartphone app)
FTS: Foul That Shit!
DTEFOC: Double Techy Ejection/Foul Out Combo (When your foulers 6th foul is also his 2nd techy)

End of the Season Awards

It's that time of year again. Time for the end of the season Donkies 2012-2013 edition!

Jumping right to it.

The Donkey for most Personal Fouls goes to: Amir Johnson with 301 PFs

The Donkey for most Foul Outs goes to: It's a tie! Amir Johnson and Jared Sullinger both had 8

The Donkey for most Technical Fouls goes to: DeMarcus Cousins with 16

The Donkey for Most Ejections goes to: Larry Sanders with 5

The Donkey for Most Flagrants goes to: A tie between Dwight Howard and Matt Barnes, both with 4


Now, donkeys by position:

PG: Nate Robinson with 1735 Points (207 PFs, 11 Techys, 1 Ejection, and 2 Flagrants)

SG: Josh Smith with 2190 Points (226 PFs, 3 FOs, 13 Techys, 2 Ejections, and 2 Flagrants)

SF: Matt Barnes with 2265 Points (233 PFs, 3 FOs, 10 Techys, 2 Ejections, and 4 Flagrants)

PF and Center: DeMarcus Cousins with 2865 Points (269 PFs, 4 FOs, 16 Techys, 4 Ejections, and 3 Flagrants)

A new award, the 6th Man of the Year, will go to the fouler with the most points who went undrafted....
And the 6th Man is: JR Smith (See stat line above)

And finally, the Most Valuable Fouler is: DeMarcus Cousins (See stat line above)

Historic Night for the Hitsquad

Baltimore Hitsquad is back in the race for 2nd after an unbelievable night from his foulers. Centered around a DTE from JR Smith and supplemented by a foul out by Roy Hibbert and Techies from Amare Stoudemire and Kobe Bryant, he scored a whopping 400 points (only missing a flagrant for the team cycle). This is debatable whether it's the most points in a night by a team. Pgastan FC scored 405 pts back on December 21st, but a stat correction later took away a techy giving PFC an adjusted score of 365.

So without stat corrections it would be 2nd most, but 1st most with.

Final tally for the Hitsquad:
16 fouls, 1 foul out, 4 techies, and 1 ejection.

The Midseason Donkies!

Now that we're at the Donk-Star Break, it's time for the midseason Donkies!

The Donkey for Most Fouls goes to... Amir Johnson with 196

The Donkey for Most Foul Outs goes to...Jared Sullinger with 8

The Donkey for Most Technicals goes to.... It's a three-way tie between: Kobe Bryant, DeMarcus Cousins, and Kevin Durant who all have 11.

The Donkey for Most Ejections goes to... DeMarcus Cousins with 3

The Donkey for Most Flagrants goes to... Dwight Howard with 4

And finally, the Most Valuable Fouler (MVF) award goes to... DeMarcus Cousins with 1870 points

Cousins At It Again

Demarcus Cousins' 6th foul in Thursday night's OT loss to Dallas was a flagrant 2 causing him to get ejected and earning 270 points for Pgastan FC. That one foul turned Cousins' 25 points for 5 fouls into 270 points, or in other words that one foul was worth 245 points (which is probably some sort of record). I believe this also ties the most points by a fouler in a single night at 270 (Gerald Wallace had his 6 foul be his 2nd techy also resulting in an ejection which would equal 270 points as well)

This adds to a huge season for PFC who's team scored 405 points on December 21st with 2 double techy ejections in one night (Carmelo Anthony and Joakim Noah). However, one of Melo's techies was taken away so the adjusted score is now 365 points.

End of the Season Donkies 2011-2012 Season

With the NFA regular season finally over, it's time to reveal the winners of the awards from this season. Without further ado here are the awards.

Donkey for Most Fouls: DeMarcus Cousins with 257 fouls (2nd place had 222)

Donkey for Most Foul Outs: DeMarcus Cousins with 7 (2nd place had 6)

Donkey for Most Techys: Two-way tie between Kendrick Perkins and DeMarcus Cousins both with 12 techys

Donkey for Most Ejections: 5-way tie between Deron Williams, Andrew Bynum, Sebastian Telfair, Larry Sanders, Robin Lopez, and Andre Miller all with 2 ejections

Donkey for Most Flagrant Fouls: 15 foulers all had 2 flagrants. Those foulers were:
