Week 22 Roundup: Nearing the End Edition

We are nearing the end of the 2023-24 NFA season as we start Week 23 today and wrap-up Week 22. Remember there are 25 weeks in the NFA season so we are getting down to crunch time. Probably safe to say that GG Foulin' will take the title home with Arlington Assaulters finishing in 2nd but the race for 3rd has tightened up as Pgastan FC's slump continues and Ohsnappers!!! moves onto the podium trying to trophy for the first time. This could be only the 3rd season out of 15 that Pgastan FC fails to trophy. Now let's see what happened in Week 22. 

Stat Corrections:

- Drew Eubanks had a personal foul taken away from him retroactive to March 21st. F'N FLOPPERS had him active that week so they lose 5 points.

Oww Ming's Flagrants had an average week of 385 points and stays in 5th place.

 

Pgastan FC had a poor week of 250 points and falls to 4th place. Ohsnappers!!! had an excellent week of 570 points and moves up to 3rd place. Arlington Assaulters had a great week of 430 points and stays in 2nd place. GG Foulin' had an average week of 365 points and stays in 1st place.

Added another tier this week as stuff has seemed sort out a little more this week. We have some pretty clear tiers/duels for position in the last few weeks. Rodman and Gamblor are battling to avoid last place. Baltimore Hitsquad is pretty safe in 7th place. Oww Ming and F'N FLOPPERS are battling for 5th while Ohsnappers!!! and PFC are dueling for the bronze. Arlington Assaulters and GG Foulin' both seem safe at 2nd and 1st respectively.

Week 21 Roundup: Catan Edition

Posting this late because I was at the board game night I used to go to pre-Covid. I got there like an hour after it started so didn't play from the start but someone had to leave the 6-player game so I jumped in. They had no number diversity so I got pretty smoked. Though we do play with a house rule which is basically like 1/2 the science bonus from Cities & Knights that supposedly speeds up the game, it still took about 2 hours to play. A lot of people were rusty. Now let's get to the post.

Gamblor had a horrible week of 180 points and moves back to 9th place. Rodman'sWeddingDress had a poor week of 265 points but moves out of the cellar. Balitmore Hitsquad had a horrible week of 195 points and stays in 7th place. F'N FLOPPERS had an average week of 300 points and stays in 6th place. Oww Ming's Flagrants had an average week of 375 points and stays in 5th place.

 

Ohsnappers!!! had an average week of 335 points and stays in 4th place. Pgastan FC had an average week of 385 points and stays in 3rd place. Arlington Assaulters had a great week of 450 points and stays in 2nd place. GG Foulin' had an excellent week of 590 points and stays in 1st place and is all but guaranteed to take home the title this year.

The only changes this week are swapping Rodman and Gamblor in the bottom tier and eliminating a tier that was on PFC last week and joining them in the middle tier with 3 other teams. The only real race for a trophy left is for 3rd as PFC continues to struggle down the stretch leaving the bronze race still open.
