Week 19 Roundup: Managing Your Foulers Edition

While the draft is an integral part for building each Foul Club every year, you still have to manage your foulers throughout the season. My sources tell me that Pgastan FC had been doing this pretty well in the first few months of the season but after picking up Josh Jackson and failing to play him due to not being sure how many minutes he was going to get it came back to bite them as he left around 500 points on the table. To add insult to injury, when he finally played him after being traded he barely got any playing time and got hardly any points out of it. So it goes to show you that you need to be attentive all season long to have a chance to win the NFA. Of course, there is a little luck involved when it comes to performance fouls especially if you play a fouler because they have more games in a given week even though he may not be your starter.

 

You also should show some patience with foulers that have a track record of fouling well. That goes for DeMar DeRozan who was drafted by Pgastan FC but wasn't producing performance fouls so he was released to the waiver wire. He finally starts fouling (4 techies and 1 ejection in the last 14 days) on teh waiver wire. Luckily for PFC, no one picked him up so he has rostered him again. Anyway, let's get to this week's post.

This was another abbreviated week due to the Donk-Star Break so keep that in mind as we go through the standings. F'N FLOPPERS had a horrible week of 170 points and stays in 9th place. Ohsnappers!!! had an average week of 395 points and stays in 8th place. Gamblor had a poor week of 250 points and stays in 7th place. Baltimore Hitsquad had an average week of 360 points and stays in 6th place. Arlington Assaulters had an average week of 305 points and stays in 5th place.

 

Rodman'sWeddingDresss had an average week of 330 points and stays in 4th place. Oww Ming;'s Flagrants had a horrible week of 140 points and stays in 3rd place. Pgastan FC had a poor week of 235 points and stays in 2nd place. GG Foulin' had an average week of 360 points and stays in 1st place.

Week 18 Roundup: Team Strength Check-In Part 4

With no games until Thursday due to the Donk-Star Break and having the day off, I figured I could post this earlier. I do have an idea for a post next week about making sure you manage your rotation well but since this is a Team Strength Check-In post, we'll devote the intro to that.

We've had some change in team strength since last month as well as some changes in the standings themselves. Pgastan FC surprisingly has the most top-25 foulers at 5 despite falling down to 2nd place lately. That's why you gotta manage your rotation efficiently and effectively but more on that in next week's intro. GG Foulin', in 1st place, is the only club to have 4 top-25 foulers. The rest of the clubs all have 2 o4 3 top-25 foulers except for last place F'N FLOPPERS who still has just 1.
