BREAKING: Pgastan Foul Club Fires GM

In a shocking move announced this afternoon at a press conference moments ago by owner and team president Don Cage, Pgastan Foul Club has fired their longtime (in fact only) GM, Denny McDonk. Don Cage gave the following statement:

When in the course of NFA events, it becomes necessary for a foul club to dissolve their scouting and operational bands which have connected them with one person in particular in order to assume a new direction for the club.

I am here to announce that Denny McDonk has been relieved of his General Manager duties effective immediately.  I would first like to thank Denny for his great leadership throughout his 6+ years as PFC GM. He lead us to the NFA championship in the leagues inaugural season (2009-2010) as well as a title 3 years later (2012-2013). However, last year was the first year in which this club failed to place in the top 3 and after a few questionable draft picks this year plus a dismal start to the 2015-2016 season, I made the decision to dismiss Denny of his duties.

As is the case with most sporting competitions sometimes leadership, whether at the coaching level or GM level, simply becomes stale and change is simply needed. I have a few GM candidates in mind and I should be back here in a few days to announce a new GM hire for PFC. PFC has a strong tradition of fouling and we need to maintain that tradition. We don't want to become the Chicago Fire of the NFA.

Thank You

Wow! Well, there you have it. PFC has fired their GM and it appears to be close to announcing a new GM to replace Denny.
