2019-2020 End of the Season Donkies!

UPDATE (12/21/2020): So I didn't realize until our draft for 2020-21 that a few of the games after the restart in August were actually regular season games. So I have to update the Donkies for historical accuracy.

I figured with the ESPY's tomorrow I should get the real awards out in advance so it takes the limelight away from those fake award shows. We all know the Donkies are the most important awards

Now this was a shortened season due to the Pandemic but like i said in my previous post we completed about 80% of the season (roughly what was done in the 2011-2012 lockout season though here not every team had completed the same amount of games). So we are still going ahead with the Donkies.

The Roger Murdock Persistent Fouling Award (Most Personal Fouls):
Dillon Brooks finished with the most fouls at 278.

The Shawn Kemp Award (Most Foul Outs):
Dillon Brooks finished with 10 foul outs.

The Rasheed Wallace Legacy Award (Most Technical Fouls):
It's a 3-way tie between DeMar DeRozan, Russell Westbrook, and Draymond Green! Each finished the season with 14 Technical Fouls

The Charles Oakley Award (Most Flagrant Fouls):
We have a 9-way tie! Devin Booker, Jonas Valanciunas, Bobby Portis, Aron Baynes, C.J. McCollum, Markief Morris, DeMar DeRozan, Davis Bertans, and Joel Embiid each finished the season with 3 flagrants.

The Dennis Rodman Award (Most Ejections):
Draymond Green finished the season with 3 ejections.

Donkies by Position  Note Stat Lines below are: (Personal Fouls-Foul Outs-Techies-Ejections-Flagrants):

PG: Russell Westbrook with 1960 points (200-2-14-2-1)

SG: Dillon Brooks with 2270 points (278-10-5-0-1)

SF: DeMar DeRozan with 1860 points (180-1-14-1-3)

PF: Marcus Morris Sr. with 1740 points (180-1-13-1-2)

C: Andre Drummond with 1885 points (201-5-10-1-1)

6th Man Award (Highest Point total for a fouler who went undrafted): Jonas Valanciunas with 1785 points (185-3-11-0-3)

Most Valuable Fouler (MVF): Dillon Brooks with 2270 points (278-10-5-0-1)

UPDATE (12/21/2020): Here's a rundown of any changes since June.

1. Dillon Brooks wins the Shawn Kemp award outright.
2.DeMar DeRozan Joins Westbrook and Green for the Rasheed Wallace Award
3. The Charles Oakley award is now a 9-way tie with Jonas Valanciunas, Devin Booker, and C.J. McCollum joining the other 6.
4. Marcus Morris Sr. squeaks by Jaren Jackson Jr. for PF Donkey by 20 points!
5. 6th Man award goes to Valancuinas instead of TJ Warren.

With the help of a few extra games we did get 2 foulers to crack 2000 points. And we didn't have a 6-way tie for flagrants, but a 9-way tie! Brooks extended his personal foul lead by 32.

Just like we wonder how the season would have ended had we been able to complete it we wonder how that would have affected the Donkies. I am guessing we still have some kind of tie for Flagrants but not a 6-way tie. Obviously, no one cracked 2000 points this year so we wonder what could have been. Props to Ohsnappers!!! for picking up 6th man before the season after he had to drop an inactive draft pick .

The Donkies by stat are actually in the range of a regular season to be honest though personal fouls probably gets to 260ish. We usually end techies in teh 14-16 range I feel like and last year Foul Outs recored was 9 so really not that bad.

Well that's it for the awards as we wrap up another season of the National Foul Association. We congratulate Pgastan FC who now joins Rodman'sWeddingDress in the only Foul Clubs to win back-to-back titles (I probably should have wrote that in th previous post).

Well that's it for now.

Keep Foulin' Y'all!
