Also, Kevin Durant finished 7th overall with basically only techy's and ejections, though Blake Griffin had a similar stat line (139-2-14-1-1) for 1555 points.

Well that's it for this season, Hope you had fun following the blog!

Until next year,

2017-2018 NFA Season Recap

Can you believe it? Another NFA season in the books. The team that drafted DeMarcus Cousins won the league again (though Cousins' went down with an injury in January). If Cousin's didn't go down, Oww Ming's Flagrants may have challenged the all-time record. Anyway, this got me thinking "What would all final NFA scores in league history look like?" Well, you're in luck if you were thinking the same thing because I put together a little table with this information!

I had to use the snipping tool to make it a JPEG from Excel, because Google Blogger wouldn't keep the formats with a straight copy and paste. So, hopefully you can click the image to make it larger. Anyway, first thing about this table is I threw away the 2011-2012 season for record low as it was a lockout, though I kept it in the Total's and averages as it was still a decent sized season. Also, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place shading is supposed to be Gold, Silver, and Bronze. You can see there have been 3 Foul Clubs in every season since the beginning: Pgastan FC (though he had two other names in the early years which were Donkey Engine and Steam Donkey FC), Baltimore Hitsquad, and F'N FLOPPERS. Rodman'sWeddingDress has been in every year except the inaugural season. The league has been pretty consistent since the 2014-2015 season with the exception of adding GG Foulin' in the 2016-2017 season (though my sources say he may be back).

Anyway, the All-Time record was set by Rodman'sWeddingDress in the 2010-2011 season in which he had Dwight Howard and a rookie named DeMarcus Cousins. The non-lockout record low was set by Hoopin Sabercats. I think the rest of the table is pretty self-explanatory so I will let you look at it instead of rehashing everything verbatim.

Let's get to the season recap.

Stat Corrections:
 - There were no stat corrections in the final week

Final 2017-2018 NFA Standings

1. Oww Ming's Flagrants - 11900 (+210)
2. Pgastan FC - 11120 (+160)
3. Arlington Assaulters - 10400 (+75)
4. Rodman'sWeddingDress - 10000 (+160)
5. They Call Me Gamblor - 9255 (+95)
6. F'N FLOPPERS - 8590 (+205)

8. Baltimore Hitsquad - 8030  (+100)

There was no movement in the standings in the final 3-days of the 2017-2018 season. Baltimore Hitsquad just made it to the 8,000 point club with a score of 100 points this week so his final score looks respectable as there are still 2 other foul clubs in the 8,000s. Ohsnappers!!! stayed in 7th place after scoring 80 points this week. F'N FLOPPRS ha a nice 3-day week of 205 points but stayed in 6th place for his final place. They Call Me Gamblor only managed 95 points but stays in 5th place.

Rodman'sWeddingDress just made it to 10000 points by scoring 160 points giving him 10,000 points exactly. Arlington Assaulters managed only 75 points to finish with 10,400 points. Pgastan FC scored 160 points to join the 11,000 point club by more than enough and he finishes as the league runner up. Finally, Oww Ming's Flagrants put up 210 points in this short week to finish with 11,900 points and claim his first title.

Week 25 Roundup: This is the End Edition

"This is the end. My only friend, the end."-- The Doors

Well, this is it, we've reached the final 3 days of the 2017-2018 NFA season and honestly, it looks like there won't be much change in the standings with the exception of potentially 6th and 7th who are separated by only 155 points. Those 155 points are the closest of any two foul clubs heading into the final stretch.

There are some reachable milestones for some Foul Clubs though:
- Pgastan FC is 40 points away from the 11,000 point club
- Rodman'sWeddingDress is 160 points away from the 10,000 point club.
- Baltimore Hitsquad is 70 points away from the 8,000 point club.

Let's take a look at how the last full week of the NFA played out.

Stat Corrections:
- There were no stat corrections this week

Transactions:
- Oww Ming's Flagrants added DeMarcus Cousins and dropped Brandon Ingram on April 3rd. This is purely a move to get Cousins back onto his roster for the Yahoo Fantasy Sports archive.
- Pgastan FC added Eric Bledsoe and dropped JaMychal Green on April 8th.
- Pgastan FC added Jonas Valanciunas and dropped Ben Simmons on April 8th.
- Pgastan FC added Ben Simmons and dropped Jonas Valanciunas on April 8th. That is not a typo, some FC GM just had a change of thought.

Standings as of April 9, 2018:

1. Oww Ming's Flagrants - 11690 (+435)
2. Pgastan FC - 10960 (+360)
3. Arlington Assaulters - 10325 (+220)
4. Rodman'sWeddingDress - 9840 (+260)
5. They Call Me Gamblor - 9160 (+255)
6. F'N FLOPPERS - 8385 (+335)

7. Ohsnappers!!! - 8230 (+275)
8. Baltimore Hitsquad - 7930  (+325)

<= 195 points: Horrible week
200-295 points: Poor week
300-395 points: Average week
400-495 Points: Great Week
500-595 Points: Excellent Week
>=600 points: Amazing week

Looks like Baltimore Hitsquad will finish the season in the cellar, though at least he should crack 8000 points. This follows an average week of 325 points. Ohsnappers!!! had a poor week of 275 points and remains in 7th place but is within reaching distance of 6th place as mentioned above. F'N FLOPPERS is that 6th place team but did get some breathing room after an average 335 point week. They Call Me Gamblor joined the 9000 point club this week after a poor week of 255 points.

Rodman'sWeddingDress also had a poor week of 260 points and remains in 4th place. Arlington Assaulters had a poor week of 220 points and remains in 3rd place. Pgastan FC had an average week of 360 points but remains in 2nd place. Oww Ming's Flagrants had a great week and is still atop the leaderboard.
