Week 13 Update: Welcome Back Baltimore Hitsquad Edtition

As the commissioner of the National Foul Association, I would like personally welcome back Baltimore Hitsquad to the league after his 3 month sabbatical. He made 3 roster transactions this past week (more on those below) which were his first roster moves of the year. Maybe he can manage his way out of the cellar of the NFA now that he seems to be paying attention...

Stat Corrections:

-Michael Carter-Williams had a techy taken away from him retroactive to January 12th. F'N FLOPPERS had him active that week so he loses 40 points.
-Russell Westbrook had a techy taken away from him retroactive to January 13th. They Call Me Gamblor had him active that week so he loses 40 points. 
-Chris Paul had a techy given to him retroactive to January 22nd. Oww Ming's Flagrants had him active that week so he gains 40 points.

There were an additional 6 stat corrections this week but none of those players were owned so I won't report them in the blog. Reminder, you can go to the Stat Corrections section under the Player tab so you won't be caught off guard when you suddenly lose 40 points next time it happens.

With Baltimore Hitsquad now paying attention, he had a respectable 415 point week but remains in last place. He did gain 100 points on Ohsnappers!!! who had a 315 point week but he remains in 7th. They Call Me Gamblor remains in 6th place after a 310 point week. F'N FLOPPERS is still in 5th after a 305 point week. Despite the lowest score of the week, Pgastan FC remains in 4th but only by 5 points. Rodman'sWeddingDress had a 420 point week but fell to 3rd because Oww Ming's Flagrants had a monster 625 point week. Finally, Arlington Assaulters remains in 1st following a 400 point week and he is the first foul club to crack 6000 points.

Week 12 Roundup: Bort Edition

There were 2 stat corrections this week but both players were free agents at the time of their corrections so it does not affect the standings.

Relatively low scoring week overall but there were 2 teams that cracked 500 points. First off, let's start at the bottom. Baltimore Hitsquad had a respectable 400 point week but remains in last place and is the only foul club to have not cracked 4000 points yet. Ohsnappers!!! scored 350 points but remains in 7th. They Call Me Gamblor had the best week of the league scoring 545 points but unfortuantely for him, F'N FLOPPERS had the 2nd best week at 500 points so he only gained 45 points on 5th. Pgastan FC had a nice 400 point week but is only 25 points ahead of the aforementioned F'N FLOPPERS. Oww Ming's Flagrants scored only 285 points but gained 15 points on Rodman'sWeddingDress and is only 75 points behind. Finally, Arlington Assaulters is almost at the 6000 point plateau after a 300 point week. He has been keeping that nearly 1000 point lead on 2nd for weeks now.

Week 11 Roundup: Homerpalooza Edition

Can't think of anything else to say for an intro, so let's get right to it.

Standings as of January 11, 2015

Scores were relatively in the middle for the most part with only 2 clubs breaking 500 pts. Both of those clubs happened to be at the top of the standings so they further increased their lead on the league for the 2015-2016 championship. Arlington Assaulters still holds a comfortable 955 point lead over Rodman'sWeddingDress. Oww Ming's Flagrants almost broke 500 points but fell 5 points short scoring 495. He further increased his lead on Pgastan FC (390 points this week) when it looked like he was finally closing in on third place. F'N FLOPPERS scored 385 points and remains in 5th. In fact there were no teams that changed place in the standings this week. They Call Me Gamblor scored 395 points, while Ohsnappers!!! scored 275 points which caused him to fall further behind 6th when last week he was only 25 points behind him. Baltimore Hitsquad scored a measly 220 points and is now 560 points behind 7th. Oh how the mighty have fallen. The Hitsquad was one of the 3 teams that was really active in the first few years of the NFA which helped the league establish a solid foundation. He finished 2nd in 2010 and 3rd in 2011. He also finished 3rd last season.

Week 10 Roundup: Markieff Morris Saga Continues Edition

I saw this in Markieff Morris' player notes today:

Suns owner Robert Sarver said that Markieff Morris "can't seem to recover" from the team's decision to trade Marcus Morris to the Pistons.

Advice: "My whole view of the millennial culture is that they have a tough time dealing with setbacks, and Markieff Morris is the perfect example," Sarver said. "He had a setback with his brother in the offseason and he can’t seem to recover from it." Markieff has been racking up DNP-CDs lately but he wasn't even on the bench Sunday, reportedly because of an illness. His trade value is tanking and fantasy owners shouldn't be clinging to him.

They really need to trade him as it is a shame that one of the best foulers in the game is stuck on the bench. That is no way to treat the reigning NFA MVF.

Baltimore Hitsquad falls further behind the rest of the league with a dismal 190 point week, he remains in 8th place. Ohsnappers!!!  had a respectable 435 point and is now only 25 points behind 6th place, They Call Me Gamblor who only scored 195 points. F'N FLOPPERS had a 380 point week but fell to 5th place. That's because Pgastan Foul Club had an incredible 730 point week, aided by 2 ejections (both from his Milwaukee Bucks players, Mayo and Middleton). He was able to close the gap on 3rd a little bit, but Oww Ming's Flagrants also had a very impressive week putting up 680 points. Rodman'sWeddingDress scored an even 400 points this week and remains in 2nd but Oww Ming's Flagrants is only 80 points behind him. Arlington Assaulters is still comfortably ahead in 1s despite a 385 point week.
