Week 22 Roundup: Binary Edition

When I was entering the scores into the Spreadsheet, I saw Rodman'sWeddingDress was leading the league with a score of 10110, so I think the title is appropriate.

Anyway, let's get right to it.
 
Stat Corrections: There were a total of 5 stat corrections this week but only 2 were owned by Foul Clubs when during the games in which they occurred.

-Amar'e Stoudemire had a techy taken away from him retroactive to March 16th. Dis Is Dat Donk Ball had him active that night so he loses 40 points.
-Quincy Acy had a techy taken away from him retroactive to March 16th. Rodman'sWeddingDressl had him active that night so he loses 40 points.

Remember those battles I mentioned last week? Well all 4 of them the team that was in last place of the duels took over their respective battle. In what was a relatively low scoring week (no team scored more than 415 points), Rodman'sWeddingDress is now leading They Call Me Gamblor by 65 points. In the battle for 3rd place, Arlington Assaulters now leads Baltimore Hitsquad by 35 points. For 5th place, Pgastan FC now leads F'N FLOPPERS by 70 points. Finally, for 7th place, Dis Is Dat Donk Ball leads Oww Ming's Flagrants by 45 points. Pretty amazing that all these battles flipped over the course of one week, eh?

Week 21 Roundup: Battle Royale Edition

As I was looking at the standings this morning, I noticed there are 3 separate battles for positions in the standings, even though the title race is only between 2. Too bad this isn't European Soccer so the other top 6 teams could be fighting for 3 Champions League spots and a Europa League spot or something... maybe if NFA expands we can bust out promotion and relegation or something. I'll get into this when I run down the standings in a second. Anyway.....

Let's get to it.

Stat Corrections: There were 3 stat corrections this week all three players are free agents so this does not affect NFA standings.


Standings as of March 23, 2015:

As I stated in the introduction there are 3 battles between the top 6. First I'll start at the bottom, where actually that is closer than I thought and you could call that a battle. Oww Ming's Flagrants has a 115 point lead on Dis Is Dat Donk Ball for 7th place after the former had a nice 580 point week. The next battle is for 5th where F'N FLOPPERS leads Pgastan FC by 65 points. After that we get into the trophy battles, where Baltimore Hitsquad leads Arlington Assaulters by a mere 5 points (that's 1 personal foul!).

Finally, for the title, They Call Me Gamblor took over first this week from Rodman'sWeddingDress after a massive 725 point week. They Call Me Gamblor currently leads Rodman'sWeddingDress by 15 points for the title. There are still a few weeks to go, but most likely there won't be any movement into these battle pods as 7th is 1310 points behind 6th, 5th is 450 points behind 4th, and 3rd is 780 points behind 2nd.

Week 20 Roundup: Too Hot For Fouling Edition

As I write this, early in the evening, it was 80 degrees today and was thinking it's way too hot for winter sports such as fouling and hockey and more suited for summer sports baseball and soccer. Well, the season has about a month to go so that will soon be changing, so let's look at what transpired this past week in the NFA:

In fact we had no movement in the standings as every team remained in the same place they were last week. However, They Call Me Gamblor did gain 230 points on Rodman'sWeddingDress to close the gap to 330 points. Pretty even distribution for the top 6 actually, 1st leads 2nd by 330 points, 2nd leads 3rd by 385 points, 3rd leads 4th by 250 points, 4th leads 5th by 295 points, and 5th leads 6th by 220 points.

Week 19 Roundup: Daylight Savings Time Edition

Having trouble coming up with better subtitles for these posts so just going with that.

-Timofey Mozgov had a techy taken away from him retroactive to February 12th. Arlington Assaulters had him active that week so he loses 40 points

No change in the standings this week, though F'N FLOPPERS had a big couple of nights early in the week and took 5th from PFC before PFC had a 3 techy night on Saturday and regained 5th place. Rodman'sWeddingDress has become the first team to join the 9000 point club. Baltimore Hitsquad has used a 610 point week to close the gap on 2nd place They Call Me Gamblor to 130 points. As it stands, it looks like no one is going to catch Rodman'sWeddingDress but there is still a month left. Oww Ming's Flagrants and Dis Is Dat Donk Ball are fighting it out for 7th place.

Well didn't really know what to title this roundup so went with that... Anyway let's get right to it.

-Isaiah Thomas had a techy taken away from him (part of his DTE) retroactive to February 22nd. Rodman'sWeddingDress had him active that day so he loses 40 points.

Baltimore Hitsquad regains 3rd place from Arlington Assaulters after the former has a 515 point week while the latter only scored 480 points. Pgastan FC remains in 5th, but F'N FLOPPERS gained 30 points on PFC to close the game to 220 points. F'N FLOPPERS has joined the 7000 point club this week. Oww Ming's Flagrants scores 460 points to remain in 7th, while Dis Is Dat Donk Ball scored 575 to close the gap on 8th but remains in last.
