Weekly Update: February 24, 2014

Donk-Star Break made this only a 6 day week with games and not 7, but basically a full week nonetheless. There were no changes in the standing this week, so let's get right to it.

Stat Corrections: There were no stat corrections this week.

Standings as of February 24:

1. Arlington Assaulters- 8250 pts (+475)
2. They Call Me Gamblor- 7730 (+520)
3. Pgastan FC- 7290 (+495)
4. Squids- 6770 (+365)
5. Rodman'sWeddingDress- 6705 (+365)
6. Baltimore Hitsquad- 6520 (+355)
7. F'N FLOPPERS- 5545 (+230)
8. Da Botchomania- 5495 (+415)

As I mentioned above, there were no movements in the standings. In fact, Squids and Rodman'sWeddingDress both gained 365 points this week so the difference between 4th and 5th remains 65 points. The top 3 gained more or less the same amount of points so there was not much movement at the top. Pgastan FC was able to gain 130 points on Squids. F'N FLOPPERS is in danger of falling to the bottom of the standings after Da Botchomania gained 185 points on him.

Transactions:

-They Call Me Gamblor added Dwayne Wade and dropped Jerryd Bayless on Feb 20th

- Pgastan FC added Taj Gibson and dropped Larry Sanders on Feb 23

- Baltimore Hitsquad added Marcin Gortat and dropped Andrea Bargnani on Feb 23

That's it for now.

Arlington Assaulters opens up a huge lead on 2nd, while 2nd maintains a large lead on 3rd, and 3rd opens up a huge lead on 4th:

Stat Corrections:

There were a total of 9 stat corrections but only 4 of the players are on a team.

- DeAndre Jordan lost a techy retroactive to January 10th. They Call Me Gamblor had him active that day so he lost 40 pts

- Jared Sullinger lost a flagrant retroactive to January 7th. Baltimore Hitsquad had him active that day so he lost 80 pts

- Mario Chalmers was given a flagrant retroactive to November 7th. Pgastan FC had him active that day so he gained 80 pts.

- DeAndre Jordan lost a flagrant retroactive to October 29th. They Call Me Gamblor had him active that day so he lost 80 pts

So, in summation: Pgastan FC gained 80 pts, Baltimore Hitsquad lost 80 pts, and They Call Me Gamblor lost 120 pts.

Standings as of February 10:

1. Arlington Assaulters- 7670 pts (+790)

Pgastan FC was able to close the gap a little bit on 2nd, but still 500 pts back. Rodman'sWeddingDress, Squids, and Baltimore Hitsquad area all relatively close to each other for 4th place.

Transactions:

Baltimore Hitsquad added Gerald Green and droped Rajon Rondo.

Huge Night for Fouls

February 5, 2014 has gone down as a huge night for fouls. Leading the way was 1st place team Arlington Assaulters who scored a whopping 340 pts (270 of those points came from a DTEFOC from Kyle Lowry) which I believe is a record for most points in a night. Kyle Lowry, I might add is a PG, so this is huge production from the 1. This is only the second time this has happened (Gerald Wallace did this in 2011).

6th place Baltimore Hitsquad scored 165 points, behind two techy's (one from PG Isiah Thomas and the other from Carmelo Anthony) and 17 personal fouls

The 3rd place team, Pgastan FC, scored 135 pts behind a techy from Larry Sanders and 19 personal fouls.

Last place team, Da Botchomania even got in on the action with 125 points behind a techy from Kevin Durant and Lebron James each plus 9 personal fouls

Finally, 4th place team, Rodman'sWeddingDress scored 120 points behind a techy from Rudy Gay and 16 personal fols. Surprisingly, he had a foul out on his bench from Evan Turner so he could have had even more points.

That's it for now.
