2024-2025 End of the Season Donkies

Finally, able to bring back the End of the Season Donkies after Yahoo! fixed the data issues. I think I'll adopt the format of the Midseason Donkies from this year where I'll post the awards first then top 25 foulers by team as I think that's an interesting thing to see especially at the end of a season. 

The Roger Murdock Persistent Fouling Award (Most Personal Fouls): 

Jaren Jackson Jr. finished with the most fouls with 257

 

The Shawn Kemp Award (Most Foul Outs): 

LaMelo Ball finished with the most foul outs with 7

The Rasheed Wallace Legacy Award (Most Technical Fouls):
Anthony Edwards finished with 17 Technical Fouls

The Charles Oakley Award (Most Flagrant Fouls):
Jaren Jackson Jr. finished with 5 Flagrant Fouls

The Dennis Rodman Award (Most Ejections)
 Nic Claxton, Isaiah Stewart, and Fred VanVleet finished with 3 ejections each

6th Man Award (Highest Point total for a fouler who went undrafted): Isaiah Stewart with 2275 points (183-3-14-3-4)

Most Valuable Fouler (MVF): Isaiah Stewart with 2275 points (183-3-14-3-4)

 

So the number 1 fouler went undrafted, this may not have happened since DeMarcus Cousins rookie year. He was the Midseason MVF too so that's a pretty incredible pickup by Pgastan FC. If PFC didn't pick him up GG Foulin' probably would have clinched the league weeks ago.  

 

We had 4 foulers over 2000 points this year:

Karl-Anthony Towns was in 5th at 1905 but after him there was a pretty big drop to 6th. That was Nic Claxton who finished with 1690 points. We had 80 foulers finish over 1000 points. 

Let's look at a Foul Club by Foul Club breakdown of who has the most top 25 foulers at the end of the season.

So, Pgastan FC finished with the most top 25 foulers but failed to win the league, instead finishing 2nd on the podium Rodman'sWeddingDress only finished with 2 top 25 foulers but finished the league in 3rd place. 

Let's take a look at MVF scoring records. Keeping in mind we're missing 2022-2023 due to Yahoo donking it and the first season of 2009-2010 as I don't think I could get those numbers when I first compiled this list.

2024-2025 NFA Season Recap

And with that, we've r3eached the end of another NFA season. Let's see how it transpired.

Like last year, only 2 teams broke 10,000 points. This time it was GG Foulin' and Pgastan FC. Rodman'sWeddingDress gets a trophy for the first time in 10 years when they last won the league. Pgastan FC is back on the podium after missing out on a trophy last season. PFC posted a rally to come within 400 points of GG Foulin' but it was too little too late. GG Foulin' has now won 4 of the last 5 titles.

Let's take a look at these totals a little more because it's quite interesting. GG Foulin' ended up winning the league coming in 2nd to last in techies and getting 0 ejections. But they finished 135 more personal fouls ahead of 2nd place Pgastan FC. They finished in 1st place in foul outs so I guess they really emphasized personal fouls and foul outs. They did finish in 2nd for flagrants with 8. Ironically, Oww Ming's Flagrants failed to record a flagrant foul this season.

There was 1 record set this year, where F'N FLOPPERS recorded 9 ejections this season.
