Week 17 Roundup: Rodman'sWeddingDress Edition

I usually try to refrain from naming a weekly roundup after a specific foul club, but the week Rodman'sWeddingDress had was insane. He got 610 points this week, that's good for a normal 7 day week, but this was an abbreviated week due to the donk-star break so he scored 610 points in a 4 day week. Here's a rundown of his week:

Thursday 2-19: Only one player for him, Ibaka, 10 points.

Friday 2-20: He had 5 players, for a total of 13 fouls and 1 techy, for 105 points. Cousins got the techy

Saturday 2-21: Three players played for a total of 160 points. (8-0-1-0-1), Cousins with another techy and a flagrant from Ibaka.

Sunday 2-22: He also had 5 players go today for a whopping 335 points (15-0-2-1-1). Highlighted by a DTE from Isiah Thomas at PG and a flagrant by Jursuf Nurkic. 335 points is close to a record day (not exactly sure, I'd have to check it, but don't feel like it).

Rodman'sWeddingDress increased his lead in 1st with a massive week (detailed above) and now has a 385 point lead. They Call Me Gamblor remains in 2nd with a decent buffer between him and 3rd. Arlington Assaulters has moved into 3rd, albeit by 5 points, but still has made an impressive run up the ladder. Baltimore Hitsquad falls to 4th in the meantime, but again, only 5 points back. Pgastan FC remains in 5th, F'N FLOPPERS still in 6th, Oww Ming's Flagrants still in 7th, and Dis Is Dat Donk Ball remains at the bottom of the table.

Week 16 Roundup: Post Donk-Star Break Edition

Since we awarded the Donkies last night and this past week was only abbreviated, this update will be short (as well as next weeks as games don't resume until Thursday).

Stat Corrections:

-Wesley Matthews had a techy taken away from him retroactive to February 3rd. Baltimore Hitsquad had him active that week so he loses 40 points.

Rodman'sWeddingDress remains atop the standings with a healthy 285 point week 16 (and that's only a 4 day week). They Call Me Gamblor moved up to 2nd place with a whopping 360 point week. This was aided with Baltimore HItsquad's measly 75 point week. Arlington Assaulters has moved closer to 3rd with a 250 point week getting an assist from the Hitsquad's 75 point week (mentioned above). Pgastan FC had an average score of 180 to remain in 5th place, while F'N FLOPPERS had 160 points scored this week to stay in 6th. Oww Ming's Flagrants scored 180 points to stay in 7th and Dis Is Dat Donk Ball brought up the rear with a 90 point week to stay dead last.

Midseason Donkies!

Well, tonight is the NBA....er NFA All-star er... Donk-Star game, so that means it's time for the midseason awards! Let's get right to it (If anyone can think of individual names for the awards instead of donkey for most techies, Donkey for most fouls, let me know, though I could try to name them myself).

Week 15 Roundup: Donk-Star Week Edition

Well, just a few more days until we hit the Donk-Star break so check back before next Monday for the midseason awards (The Midseason Donkies!). But until then we got another weekly roundup to write, so let's get to it:

THe top 3 remained the same with Rodman'sWeddingDress extending his lead over the Hitsquad by 15 points this week. They Call Me Gamblor had a nice week gaining 555 points to close the gap on the top 2 but still is 115 points behind 2nd and 160 behind 1st. Arlington Assaulters had a monster week with 705 points to finally seperate himself from Pgastan FC who only gained 405 points. F'N FLOPPERS remains in 6th place this week with a decent hauld of 450 points. Oww Ming's Flagrants has re-emerged from the cellar for the first time in a while with a 545 point week, while Dis Is Dat Donk Ball drops to last place after only gaining 325 points. This is the time of year when injuries can wreck havoc in the NFA and force managers to make some strategic lineup decisions, so stay tuned!

Week 14 Roundup: Snowy Edition

While the Midwest (and to a lesser extent East Coast Bias) are getting owned by snow....I don't know where I am going with this, so let's get right into the roundup.

Stat Corrections: There was only one stat correction this past week but it was to a free agent so it doesn't matter. In case you are wondering Ian Mahinmi had a techy taken away from him.

Oww Ming's Flagrants is still in the cellar but only 60 points behind Dis Is Dat Donk Ball. F'N FLOPPERS has opened up a 1050 point lead on 7th but still 325 points behind 5th. Arlington Assaulters and Pgastan FC remain in a heated battle for 4th with PFC widening the gap by 15 points this week. It was a crazy week where PFC had over 100 pts on AA like the week before when AA had a sizable lead during the week, but again it evened out and the two teams are only 20 points apart in NFA Standings. As of now, They Call Me Gamblor is entrenched in 3rd place with a 285 point lead on PFC for 3rd, with PFC and AA not really threatening to move up in the standings. The title race has gotten tight again thanks to a 595 point week by the Hitsquad. Rodman'sWeddingDress still has 30 point lead for first place though that could change in a day, that's less than a techy!
